This is a single malt Scotch from Ardnamurchan Distillery on Scotland's west coast, bottled at 46.8% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is owned by Adelphi and makes both peated and unpeated malts.
The whisky was matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks, and a light peat smoke runs through it.
The nose is fresh and coastal, with honeyed malt, citrus zest, sea air and a little peat smoke, alongside vanilla and orchard fruit. On the palate, caramel and vanilla sit with dark fruit, nuts and gentle spice. The finish is medium to long, smoky and sweet, with maritime saltiness and soft oak spice.
