This Ardnamurchan is a peated Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, from a batch of 8,460 bottles. It was made entirely from peated spirit.
The spirit spent three years in 29 ex-bourbon casks before being re-racked into Sauternes barriques for a further three and a half years.
The nose brings lime leaf, shortbread, pineapple upside-down cake and stem ginger. On the palate come nutmeg, smoked manuka honey, lemon meringue pie and hickory wood with farmy smoke. The finish is spicy, punchy and bright.
