Ardnamurchan – AD/

Ardnamurchan AD/ is a single malt Scotch whisky from a distillery set among coastal woods on a peninsula on the west coast of Scotland. Ardnamurchan translates as Headland of the Great Seas. All of the distillery's power and heat comes from local renewables. A biomass boiler and a hydroelectricity generator both run on woodchip from the nearby forestry, so the footprint stays as small as possible. The distillery is owned by Adelphi, the independent bottler.
