This is a cask strength Highland single malt from Ardnamurchan, bottled at 57.7% ABV. The spirit is 84% peated and 16% unpeated, matured in 90% bourbon casks and 10% sherry casks. It has no added colour, is non-chill-filtered, and was released in a run of 12,886 bottles.
The nose offers pear and almond tart, sea salt, wet hessian, flapjacks, sea shells and peppermint tea. On the palate come fresh ginger, tobacco leaf, well-integrated peat, orange blossom and salted caramel, with a pleasing texture.
