Ardnamurchan – Paul Launois Release

This is the Paul Launois Release of Ardnamurchan, a single malt Scotch whisky from a distillery on a coastal peninsula on the west coast of Scotland. The name Ardnamurchan translates as Headland of the Great Seas. The distillery draws all its power and heat from local renewables. A biomass boiler and a hydroelectricity generator are both fuelled by woodchip from nearby forestry, which keeps its footprint small. Ardnamurchan is owned by Adelphi, the independent bottler.
