This is a peated single malt from Ardnamurchan, made entirely from peated spirit. It forms part of the distillery's Sauternes Cask Release series.
The whisky matured for about three years in former bourbon casks, then received a finish in Sauternes barriques. That combination brings citrus and nutty, creamy notes alongside the smoke of the peated spirit.
It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour.
