Ardnamurchan Small Batch is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 46.8% ABV, with natural colour and without chill-filtration. A release of 5,004 bottles was made for the USA.
The whisky is drawn from 65% ex-bourbon cask and 35% sherry cask, and is split evenly between peated and unpeated malt.
The nose is described as nutmeg, toffee apple, crème brûlée, linseed, Seville oranges, cardamom, Manuka honey, nougat, saltwater and driftwood. On the palate come grapefruit marmalade, flamed orange peel, ripe pear, peach, sweet soy sauce, gentle minerals, warming Sichuan pepper and campfire.
