The Midgie is a Highland single malt from Ardnamurchan, a playful tribute to the Highland midge, and this bottle is the 2025 release. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky was matured in 50% ex-American bourbon barrels, 48% Port barriques and 2% sherry casks. The spirit is a mix of 75% unpeated and 25% peated whisky.
