Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Blanc de Noirs (75cl, 12.5%)

This is a Blanc de Noirs Champagne made entirely from Pinot Noir grown in Premier and Grand Cru villages of the Montagne de Reims. It is 12.5% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. Each release is a numbered, limited-edition blend of three vintages, with its disgorgement date inscribed on the bottle. Only the first, freshest part of the press is used, and the dosage wine is aged for a year in new French oak. The metal-coated bottle carries hand-applied pewter labels and comes in a lacquered wooden box. The style is powerful and vinous, with red-berry and stone-fruit depth, orange blossom, brioche and flinty minerality, finishing long and fresh.
