Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Brut Gold Champagne Methuselah (6L, 12.5%)

Armand de Brignac Brut Gold is the signature Champagne of the Ace of Spades house, made by the Cattier family in Champagne. This Methuselah is a 6 litre bottle, equal to eight standard bottles, hand-finished with metallic gold plating and pewter labels. It is a Brut blend of three vintages: 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier, aged 4 to 5 years on the lees, at 12.5% ABV. The nose is delicate, with floral notes, baked apple, apricot, honey and warm brioche. The palate is silky and full-bodied, with peach, lemon zest, toasted almond and a little vanilla. The finish is long, with balanced acidity and a creamy, mineral close.
