Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Brut Rosé Methuselah (6L, 12.5%)

This is a Brut Rosé Champagne from Armand de Brignac, made by Maison Cattier, in a 6 litre Methuselah, the equivalent of eight standard bottles. It is a multi-vintage blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 10% Chardonnay, made entirely from the first press and aged on lees for a minimum of four years. It comes in the house's metallic pink bottle with hand-applied pewter labels, and is bottled at 12.5% abv. The nose offers fresh strawberry, currant and cherry with brioche and floral notes. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with ripe red fruit, citrus zest, pastry cream and a hint of spice. The finish is long and dry, with balanced acidity.
