Armand de Brignac Blanc de Blancs Brut (75cl)

This is a Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne from Armand de Brignac, made by the Cattier family, who have farmed vines for over 250 years. All the vineyards hold the highest level of HVE certification. It comes in a 75cl bottle. It is a blend of Chardonnay, with a cuvée drawn from three harvests and from vineyards across the region. Alcoholic fermentation takes place partly in steel and partly in wood, and the wine rests on its fine lees in wood before malolactic fermentation. It then spends at least 36 months on its yeasts. The nose shows pastry and brioche, quince and grapefruit, with caramel, candied citrus, ginger and honey. The palate is layered, mineral and savoury, broad and long.
