Armorik 10 Year Old Limited Edition 2024 is a French single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled in 2024 at 46% and limited to 5,000 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
This year's recipe combines bourbon and sherry casks with one ex-Cognac cask, giving a Scottish-style distillate a Breton twist. The casks include refill and first-fill bourbon, bourbon followed by sherry, and Pedro Ximenez sherry.
The nose is intense, with exotic fruit, raisins, pastry and oak with vanilla. The palate is round and complex, with honey, liquorice, vanilla and a little banana. The finish is long and warming, with toasted bread, red fruit and a hint of pepper.
