Armorik Edition Maître de Chai 2023 is a whisky from the Warenghem distillery in Brittany, in a 70cl bottle at 50% abv. It is unpeated.
The nose is fruity and intense, with juicy white peach, fresh apricot, subtle vanilla and flint. On the palate a lively start gives way to honey sweetness and fresh fruit such as tart pear, with the minerality of the nose coming back. The finish is warm, with vanilla and oak in a bourbon-like vein.
