Arran 10 Year Old is a single malt distilled on the Isle of Arran, in a 70cl bottle. It spends ten years maturing in oak casks that previously held bourbon and sherry, and has a light amber colour.
The nose brings fresh apple and pear, then vanilla and sweet spice from the ex-sherry casks. The palate is full and round, with malt and caramel lifted by a little freshness from the fruit. The finish is long, with chocolate and hazelnut.
