Arran 14 Year Old is a single malt from the Lochranza distillery on the Isle of Arran, returning to the range with a refined recipe. It is bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky was matured mainly in bourbon casks, with a touch of rare Palo Cortado sherry casks adding depth.
The nose has ripe fruit, mandarin, vanilla and a gentle salty, coastal edge. The palate is full and elegant, with toffee, ripe apples, tropical fruit and subdued spice. The finish is long and soft, with discreet oak and a salty close.
