Arran The Golden Eagle is the fourth and final release in the Icons of Arran series. Distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2012 at 46% ABV, this single malt combines 14 ex-Bourbon barrels and seven ex-sherry hogsheads, producing an edition of 6,000 bottles.
Aromas of candied citrus, vanilla, toasted oak and tropical fruit precede a silky palate of crisp apple, heather honey, raisins and warming spice. The finish is long and clean, with a gentle oak-spice note.
