Arran – 2015/2025 9 Year Old Private Cask 3559 Peated 50ppm Exclusively for Denmark (70cl, 59.6%)

This is a 9 year old single cask Arran, peated to 50 ppm and bottled at a cask strength of 59.6% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 19 October 2015 and bottled on 2 July 2025 from a first-fill bourbon barrel, filling 246 bottles. Until 2017 the distillery in Lochranza made both unpeated and peated whisky, the peated mainly at 20 ppm and only occasionally at 50 ppm. This cask comes from one of those heavily peated runs. The whisky is elegant, with clear smoke on both nose and palate.
