Arran 25 Year Old 2021 Release is a single malt from Arran Distillery on the Isle of Arran, bottled in 2021 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 3,000 bottles.
The whisky was matured in bourbon barrels and sherry hogsheads. It is non-chill-filtered and has no artificial colouring.
The nose is baked apple, dried apricot and cherry, with a hint of nutmeg. On the palate there is fruitcake and creamy honey, with zesty orange and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is long and warming, with dark chocolate, walnut and lightly spiced fruit.
