This is an Arran single malt finished in Amarone wine casks and bottled at 50% ABV. The whisky first matured in traditional oak casks over a number of years before the finishing period.
The wine casks were sourced from an artisan Amarone producer in the Veneto region of Italy. The bottling sets the character of that Italian wine against the complex, vibrant character of the Arran single malt.
