Machrie Moor is a ten-year-old smoky single malt from the Lochranza distillery on the Isle of Arran, bottled at 46% ABV.
It is named after a windswept peat moor on Arran's west coast. Among the Bronze Age standing stones there is one with a hole carved through it, and legend says the warrior Fingal tied his hound Bran to it.
Isle of Arran Distillers describe it as an expression that captures the island's rugged beauty.
