Arran Machrie Moor Cask Strength is a peated whisky from the Isle of Arran, bottled at cask strength in a 70cl bottle. It takes its name from the island's peat bog and was matured in selected oak casks.
The nose is smoky peat with vanilla and honey. The palate is robust and full-bodied, with dark chocolate, citrus and lingering spice and smoke. The finish is long, as the peat returns with a light saltiness reminiscent of a sea breeze.
