Machrie Moor Fingal's Cut Quarter Cask is a peated Arran single malt, made at the Lochranza Distillery and bottled exclusively for Lagg Distillery at the southern tip of the island. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky begins in ex-bourbon barrels and is then moved into small 125-litre quarter casks. Creamy vanilla sits alongside sweet, earthy smoke, and the peat is confident. It is described as a glimpse of where Lagg Distillery's peated style is heading.
