Arran Quarter Cask The Bothy is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled and matured in Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, in a 70cl bottle at 56.2% ABV. It is bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky is matured first in American oak and then moved to quarter casks, smaller casks that bring the spirit into closer contact with the wood.
The nose has vanilla, honey, fresh fruit, sweet spice and toasted wood. On the palate come pepper and caramel, then dried fruit. The finish is long, with spice and dark chocolate.
