Arran Quarter Cask The Bothy is a single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled at cask strength, 56.2% ABV.
The whisky was first matured in first-fill bourbon casks for seven years, then moved into small 125-litre quarter casks for a further two years. The smaller wood allows a more intense exchange between spirit and cask.
It is described as round, soft and balanced, with lemon zest, cocoa, vanilla, tropical fruit and gentle spice.
