Arran – Quarter Cask The Bothy (70cl, 56.2%)

Arran – Quarter Cask The Bothy is a single malt whisky from Arran (Island). Bottled at 56.2% ABV, 70cl. Distilled at the Arran distillery at Lochranza in the north of the island, this single malt is matured for seven years in first fill ex-bourbon barrels before spending a further two years in quarter casks, holding just 125 litres. These smaller cask allow for more interaction between the whisky and the wood, giving a more intense maturation. Bottled at 56.2% abv, this expression joined the Arran core range in 2019 with refreshed packaging. Comes with its box.
