Remnant Renegade is the first of four Arran single malts in the Signature Series, each chosen and signed by distillery manager Stewart Bowman. He put this one together from remnant casks: ex-sherry hogsheads, ex-sherry butts and ex-bourbon barrels, all from Lochranza Warehouse #5. The casks date from 1997 to 2017, with most from 2010 to 2012.
It is bottled at 46% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour, and 14,863 bottles were filled.
The tasting note is rich spice with a candy store finish.
