Arran Robert Burns is a blended malt bottled as a tribute to Robert Burns, Scotland's national poet, at 40% ABV.
Its base is single malt from the Lochranza distillery on Arran, joined by a few selected malts from other Scottish distilleries.
The nose offers raspberry and almond tart, with a touch of toasted oak and caramel. The palate is dry, light and soft, with sweet apples, liquorice and a faint background of peat smoke. The finish is fresh and warming, with lingering vanilla sweetness.
