Arran Sauternes Cask Finish is a single malt aged for about eight years in American oak casks that previously held bourbon. It was then finished in a selection of Sauternes wine casks from Bordeaux in France.
It is bottled unfiltered at 50% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is balanced, with honey, apricot, banana and hazelnut. The palate is soft and lightly spiced with a savoury edge, showing honey, orange, vanilla and sultanas. The finish is of medium length, with oak.
