Arran Sauternes Cask Finish is a single malt that spends eight years in oak casks before a finishing period in Sauternes wine casks from a boutique Bordeaux producer. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 700ml bottle, non-chill filtered and with natural colour.
The nose is honeysuckle, melon and marzipan, with floral and citrus notes. On the palate there is honeyed sweetness, vanilla, sultana and spice, balanced by zesty freshness and a salty zing, with toasted oak behind. The finish is lingering and sweet, with apricot, melon and honeysuckle.
