Arran – Sauternes Cask Finish (75cl, 50%)

Arran Sauternes Cask Finish is a single malt from Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran, Scotland, bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The malt completes its main maturation in oak, then is finished in hand-selected casks that held Sauternes, the sweet wine of Bordeaux, supplied by an artisan producer. Reported tasting notes give honeysuckle, melon and marzipan on the nose, honeyed apricot on the palate and a long, honeyed finish.
