Arran Single Malt Cask Finish Sauternes is a single malt Scotch from the Isle of Arran, finished in casks that previously held Sauternes, the sweet French wine. It is in a 70cl bottle and comes boxed.
The nose offers honey, apricot and candied fruit, with vanilla and sweet spices such as cinnamon and clove. The palate is soft and velvety, opening sweet and moving to ripe fruit, honey and a trace of toasted almond. The finish is long, with fruity sweetness and a hint of toasted oak.
