Arrogant Bastard is a craft American whiskey made by Arrogant Consortia in collaboration with Foundry Distilling Co in Iowa. It was aged in oak barrels for 26 months and comes in a 750ml bottle.
It is deliberately assertive rather than smooth, with an oak-forward profile of spice and caramelised sweetness.
The nose gives toasted oak, caramel, dark sugar and baking spice. The palate has vanilla, charred oak, molasses and warm spice, and the finish is long, with lingering oak, spice and a dry sweetness.
