This is a German brandy from Asbach, matured for at least fifteen years. It is made from carefully selected wines and aged in oak for an extended period.
The character leans towards dried fruit, vanilla, toasted oak and warming spice.
The nose offers dried apricot, raisin, vanilla, toasted oak and baking spice. On the palate there is rich fruitcake, caramel, dark honey, oak spice and roasted nuts. The finish is long, smooth and warming, with dried fruit and vanilla lingering.
