A German brandy aged for at least eight years in oak casks. It has an intense golden colour and a rich, sophisticated bouquet of ripe fruit, sweet spices such as vanilla and a delicate toasted wood note. On the palate it is soft and enveloping, with cooked fruit, caramel and chocolate balanced by almond and spice, leading to a long, pleasant finish. It is suited to serving at room temperature as a digestif, in a snifter, or as a base for refined cocktails.
