ASW Fiddler Toasted Rye is a cask strength straight rye whiskey in a 750ml bottle. The rye is column-distilled in Indiana and aged for at least six years in new charred American white oak. It is then finished in new American white oak barrels toasted to light, medium and heavy levels, and bottled by ASW Distillery in Atlanta, Georgia. It is non-chill-filtered with no colour added.
Fiddler is ASW's range of sourced whiskies, named in honour of Master Distiller Justin Manglitz, who is also an old-time fiddler. The mash bill changes from batch to batch.
Butterscotch, nutmeg, mint and mace show on the nose. The palate carries butterscotch and oak.
