Athrú Keshcorran is a 14 year old Irish single malt, the third expression of Athrú 14 year old, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
It matured for 10 years in ex-bourbon American oak, then spent 4 years in Tokaji sweet wine casks. These came from a Hungarian vineyard originally planted in the 1720s for Catherine the Great. Keshcorran is named after the fairy mountain near Sligo.
Green apples and pear are noted, with a long, subtle finish of butterscotch and tobacco.
