Athrú Knocknarea 14 Year Old is an Irish single malt named after the prominent hill that overlooks the west coast of County Sligo. The whisky was matured first in American oak casks and then finished in Oloroso sherry casks, which add depth and richness. The result combines structure from the oak maturation with the layered influence of the sherry.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
