Auchentoshan 18 Year Old is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky, distilled between the mid-1960s and early 1970s and bottled in the 1980s at 43% in a 75cl bottle. It is a Morrison Bowmore era bottling from a distillery known for triple distillation. Auchentoshan was owned by the Tennents brewery through the 1960s, then sold to Eadie Cairns, who upgraded the site and began bottling it officially as a single malt. None of its output is reserved for blends, and the 18 year old remains part of the core range.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
