This is a 20 year old Auchentoshan from the Lowlands, bottled by Whisky Craft at 55.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The triple-distilled spirit matured in a second-fill hogshead, and 225 bottles were released.
The nose is fresh and zesty, with lemon zest, limoncello, honey and a touch of mint, plus grassy notes. The palate is light and refined, with orange oil and soft citrus. The finish is clean and lively, with a peppery kick and a zesty lift.
