Auchentoshan – 24 Year Old That Boutique-y Whisky Company (50cl, 50.6%)

This Auchentoshan is a 24 year old Lowland single malt, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company at 50.6% in a 50cl bottle. It comes from a run of 614 bottles, the first of which were released in November 2018. The nose is earthy, with wild berries and a little pepper. On the palate a light sweetness gives way to peat and warm, peppery notes. The sweetness fades in the finish, leaving a long, spicy aftertaste.
