This is a 25 year old Lowland single malt from Auchentoshan, bottled by Douglas Laing in its Xtra Old Particular series. It was distilled in May 1997, matured in a refill hogshead and bottled in April 2023 at a cask strength of 53.3%. 193 bottles were filled, each of 70cl, without chill-filtration or added colouring.
The notes include honey, cream, mint, citrus, autumn fruits, spice, caramelised fruit, barley, cocoa and oak, with a silky texture.
