A Lowland single malt Scotch whisky from Auchentoshan, in a 750ml bottle at 43% ABV. It is made from triple-distilled spirit and matured in three stages: first in American bourbon barrels, then in Oloroso sherry casks, and finally in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The nose offers blackcurrant, plum, brown sugar and orange peel, with raisin and dried fruit coming through over time. The palate is soft and syrupy, with dark fruit, butterscotch, hazelnut and cinnamon, lifted by a touch of lemon. The finish is long and warming, with oaky sweetness, dark chocolate and dried fruit.
