This is a 15 year old Auchroisk single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2008 and finished in Fondillón wine casks. It is cask number 1101 and bottled at 54.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Speyside is formally part of the Highlands, but the distilleries along the River Spey are known for a fine, elegantly floral style. That has led to the area being treated as a whisky region in its own right.
