Augier L'Océanique Cognac (70cl, 40.1%)

L'Océanique is a Cognac from Maison Augier, founded in 1643. It comes from the Bois Ordinaires terroir of Île d'Oléron and is made only from Ugni Blanc grapes. The distillation is carried out on clear wines with the fine lees racked off, without additives, and the Cognac is filtered at ambient temperature. The Atlantic Ocean's direct influence gives it a fresh, crisp profile. It is bottled at 40.1% in a 70cl bottle. Expect lively citrus peel and white flowers, with a distinct mineral, iodised touch, leading to a light, balanced finish.
