Augusta Buckner's Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey 10 Year Old (75cl)

Augusta Buckner's is a limited edition single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled by Augusta Distillery in Augusta, Kentucky. The whiskey was distilled in Kentucky, with a mash bill of 78% corn, 13% rye and 9% malted barley, and aged for 10 years in new charred American oak. The name honours Captain Philip Buckner, a Revolutionary War officer who donated 600 acres of land to found the city of Augusta in 1797. This bottling belongs to the cask strength Buckner's range and won gold at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The nose is glazed puff pastry, rosemary and canned peaches. Mace and cinnamon spice lead on the palate, and the finish is lemon and orange zest.
