A single barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon from Augusta Distillery, aged ten years in new American oak and bottled at cask strength in a 75cl bottle. Each bottle comes from one barrel, and the whiskey is non-chill filtered.
The colour is a rich amber, and the strength is left undiluted so that it varies from barrel to barrel.
The nose is warm mahogany, antique wood and a faint earthiness. On the palate there are wet soil, dry corn and honeyed vanilla over deep barrel tones. The finish is long, with caramel, buttercream, exotic spice and cured tea leaves.
