A barrel proof Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, bottled in 2016 at 56.4% in a 75cl bottle. It is blended from barrels of bourbon aged between 6 and 12 years and comes from the Wild Turkey distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
The distillery was built in 1935 by the Ripy Brothers. Austin Nichols bought it in 1972 and renamed it, and the purchase brought master distiller Jimmy Russell, who started there in 1954. A new distillery was built on the same site in 2011.
