Bache-Gabrielsen American Oak Cognac

Bache-Gabrielsen American Oak is a cognac matured in American oak, the first of its kind. It is double matured: several years in French oak, then at least six months in new American oak. The wood is imported from Tennessee, and the casks are made to specifications set by the cellar master with a local cooperage in Cognac. The American oak gives a distinct character, with delicate exotic fruit such as coconut and pineapple, set alongside vanilla and cocoa from the French oak. The result is a fruity, indulgent cognac.
