Backbone Bourbon Prime is a blended bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 52% ABV (104 proof). It is a throwback to the original Backbone Uncut.
The blend combines 6-year-old and 2-year-old bourbons with some young rye and 8-year-old corn whiskey, then proofed down to strength.
It is described as strong and complex enough to drink neat or with a little water, and with enough presence to stand out in cocktails.
